OpenAccount Terms Addendum
This OpenAccount Addendum ("Addendum") supplements the Xportpark Terms of Service and applies specifically to the OpenAccount onboarding service offered via openaccount.xportpark.com. If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the master Terms, this Addendum controls for OpenAccount.
1) What OpenAccount Is
OpenAccount is a paid onboarding and activation service that may include:
- Account setup and activation steps
- Collection of business/professional profile details
- Risk checks and/or Verification steps (KYB/KYC) where required
- Enabling eligibility for certain platform features after completion
OpenAccount does not guarantee trade success, partner matches, revenue, or any outcome.
2) Eligible Users (Phase 1)
OpenAccount is available only to:
- Businesses and organizations, and
- Professional Individuals (freelancers, sole proprietors, consultants)
You must be 18+ and use OpenAccount for professional purposes.
3) Fees and Payment Processing
OpenAccount requires payment of a setup fee (and any stated taxes). Payment may be processed by third-party payment processors.
You authorize us (and our payment providers) to process your payment for the fee displayed at checkout.
4) Refunds and Cancellations (clear and fair)
Unless required otherwise by applicable law, OpenAccount fees are handled as follows:
4.1 Refund window (before processing starts)
You may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase only if OpenAccount processing has not started.
4.2 When processing is considered "started"
Processing is considered started when any of the following occurs:
- We begin reviewing your submitted information
- We initiate Verification or compliance checks
- We send requests for additional information/documents
- We provision/activate onboarding-related access or resources
4.3 No refunds after processing starts
Once processing starts, the setup fee is generally non-refundable, because services and operational work have begun.
4.4 Fraud/chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, we may suspend your Account and limit access to paid features until resolved. Repeated abuse may result in termination.
5) Verification (KYB/KYC) and Additional Information
Depending on your country, risk profile, and the features you request:
- We may require identity or business verification.
- We may use third-party verification providers.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information and documents.
We may refuse to proceed if information is incomplete, inconsistent, or indicates a compliance risk.
6) OpenAccount Status Outcomes
OpenAccount may result in one of the following:
- Approved / Completed: your onboarding is complete and your account may be eligible for additional features.
- Pending / Under Review: we require more time or information.
- Needs More Information: you must provide additional details to continue.
- Rejected: we decline OpenAccount due to risk, compliance, or policy reasons.
We may not be able to disclose detailed reasons for rejection in all cases, especially for security or compliance reasons.
7) Timelines and No Guarantee
We aim to process OpenAccount efficiently, but timelines depend on document completeness, verification steps, and operational volume. We do not guarantee specific completion times.
8) Ongoing Compliance and Updates
Even after OpenAccount completion, we may request updated information to:
- Maintain platform safety and trust
- Respond to legal/compliance obligations
- Manage fraud and risk
Failure to provide updates may limit access to certain features.
9) Communications
We will communicate OpenAccount status via email and/or your dashboard where available. You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address.
