Trade Compliance Policy

This Trade Compliance Policy ("TCP") supplements the Xportpark Terms of Service and describes our approach to trade compliance, sanctions, export controls, and prohibited trade. All users of the Services must comply with this policy.

1) General Principle

Xportpark operates as a platform for professional trade-related activities. All activity on the platform must comply with applicable laws, including trade, customs, anti-corruption, sanctions, export controls, and anti-money-laundering regulations.

2) Your Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring your activities on the platform comply with all applicable trade laws. This includes:

  • Verifying the legality of goods/services you trade or discuss
  • Screening your own trade counterparts where required by law
  • Understanding and complying with trade regulations that apply to your jurisdiction and activities
  • Not using the Services to facilitate sanctioned, prohibited, or restricted trade

3) Xportpark's Role

Xportpark is a platform provider. We are not a trade intermediary, customs broker, freight forwarder, or compliance service. We are not responsible for your compliance decisions.

That said, we take trade compliance seriously and may:

  • Use automated tools or manual review to identify potentially prohibited activities
  • Restrict listings, activities, or accounts that appear to violate trade laws or this policy
  • Report suspected violations to authorities where required or appropriate

4) Prohibited Activities (Examples — Non-Exhaustive)

  • Trade in goods/services subject to comprehensive or sectoral sanctions (e.g., OFAC, EU sanctions)
  • Transactions involving restricted parties or designated persons/entities
  • Trade in controlled military/dual-use items without proper authorization
  • Trade in prohibited goods (e.g., illegal drugs, illegal wildlife products)
  • Attempts to circumvent or structure transactions to evade sanctions, export controls, or customs requirements

If you are unsure whether your activity is permitted, seek independent legal advice before proceeding.

5) Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Content removal or restriction
  • Account suspension or termination
  • Reporting to relevant authorities
  • Legal action

6) Updates

Trade compliance rules change frequently. We may update this policy at any time. Users are encouraged to review it periodically.

7) Reporting Suspected Violations

If you become aware of potential trade compliance violations on the platform, report them to compliance@xportpark.com.
